The Top TEN Law Of Attraction Books For The Empath And Highly Sensitive Person
A few years ago, I wrote an article about the top 7 law of attraction books for HSP’s.
I’ve updated the article since then, but Google doesn’t like it when you alter posts, and much has happened between then and now. So, I decided to write something a little more current.
Here are the best law of attraction books, 2019.
1) Ask, and it is Given – Esther and Jerry Hicks
After reading this or any Abraham Hicks material, you will get up, rekindle your love for manifesting, and start running toward your abundance. The book is divided into two parts. Part I is composed of beautifully delivered messages that help you remember who you really are. Part II offers exercises to help you be successful in your practice.
Other Abraham Hicks favorites are The Vortex and Co-Creating at Its Best: A Conversation Between Master Teachers, a lecture they did with Wayne Dyer. No matter what you read or listen to from them, they are the best at the Law of Attraction. In my opinion, no one does it better.
2) The Miracle Club - Mitch Horowitz
If you want an informative and powerful history lesson on the pioneers of the Law of Attraction, you need know only one name: Mitch Horowitz. Horowitz is one of the most eloquent and knowledgeable writers I have experienced - in various genres outside of spirituality as well. His latest book, The Miracle Club: How Thoughts Become Reality, has become one of my favorites. In this book, you will learn about the known and unknown contributors to this field along with their take, practice, and methods on the Law of Attraction.
3) The Power of Your Subconscious Mind - Joseph Murphy
Speaking of pioneers, I am having a tough time deciding who is my next favorite author. I love and respect Neville Goddard so much and there is so much material out there. But, I think that The Power of Your Subconscious Mind by his mate Joseph Murphy is genuinely one of my favorite LoA texts ever written. The only negative is that the physical copy of the book has very small text. If you are in the reading glasses stage of your life, you may want to consider either the Kindle or the Audible version of this classic.
4) Five Lessons - Neville Goddard
There is a lot of material out there by Neville Goddard. This text in particular succinctly captures his best work of manifesting thoughts and ideas. I also feel that this book best translates all of his not-so-easy to understand allegorical biblical interpretations and philosophies.
On a side note, if you are loving Neville, then you may want to check out the site freeneville.com. Mr. Twenty-Twenty and his wife Victoria do a beautiful job of making Neville’s work more available and easy to put into ready practice.
If you are just checking out the law of attraction and want to take it for a spin, I would suggest E-Squared. Grout’s writing is similar to Jen Sincero, another of my favorite LOA authors. LOA can be such a serious, heavy business but these ladies are great at showing us how to lighten up.
This book contains one of my favorite positive mindset examples. In it, Pam tells the story of the movie Man on Fire. Denzel Washington's character is trying to train Dakota Fanning's character to become a faster swimmer. During the training, he tells her, "There is no such thing as tough. There is trained and untrained. Now which are you?" She affirmatively replies, "Trained!" She compares this example to our minds and the law of attraction. Most of us are running around with very untrained brains and thus get very chaotic results. With the law of attraction, you always want to be the master of your mindset. And I think this example is a beautiful illustration of that. Oh, and did I mention Pam is hilarious?
6) You are a Badass at Making Money - Jen Sincero
Empaths and Highly Sensitive People have one very big kryptonite. They are negatively affected by inauthenticity or disingenuousness. Well, you may think that using terms like “badass” is one of those inauthentic things the author is using to sell her stuff. But I have acquired a boatload of Jen Sincero's work, and this is her true nature. This is a woman who would call you a badass to your face -- several times! Her tone is very cheeky and, for me, this is the funniest, most entertaining book on LOA out there. You do not want to miss the “Twat” story. You're going to have to buy the book to know what I mean.
7) Creating Money Attracting Abundance - Sanaya Roman
I am a huge fan of Sanaya Roman’s and Duane Packer’s work. They are fellow channels and their guides offer beautiful guidance to help you with your abundance success. Their website is chock full of educational materials for the serious student of channeling. Creating Money Attracting Abundance is loaded with LOA practical exercises that you can begin incorporating and practicing immediately.
8) The Secret - Rhonda Byrne
This book is responsible for more LOA converts than any other, and so I say a hearty thank you to Rhonda Byrne. Within those LOA converts are about a million people realizing and waking up to the fact that they are empaths and highly sensory individuals. Also, because of her background, no one makes the law of attraction come to life and look more stunning than she does. Don’t believe me? Watch this two-minute video here. She will also introduce you to many more wonderful LOA authors that she features as master teachers in the documentary of The Secret that you can find on Netflix here.
9) The Game of Life and How to Play It - Florence Scovel Shinn
Out of all the classics, The Game of Life and How to Play it still speaks a language that transcends time. Through her books like The Secret Door to Success and the Magic Path of Intuition, it’s almost like you know her. I imagine sitting down with her, listening to her lecture, and feeling her will impressed upon me. Her convictions are very strong, which I think is what made her such a successful speaker and reporter of this magical phenomena. This book is a must-read for anyone interested in the law of attraction.
10) Happy Money - Ken Honda
I also wanted to give a shout out to the book Happy Money, by Ken Honda. This adorable, bright yellow book will have you looking at your money like never before. It helps you adjust your thoughts on any kind of exchange, especially with currency. The nuts and bolts of this book speak of an old tradition in a newfound way.
We’d love to hear from you and know what your favorite LOA books are!
Stay tuned for our next blog where we’ll share a powerful exercise from You are a Receiver that helps you when you’re going through very real things, like not being able to pay your bills or having a negative bank balance.
Until then, happy manifesting!
